Maddie is from Dunstable, MA and just graduated Providence College with a BS in Marketing this past May. Throughout middle and high school, dance was her creative and active outlet. When she went on to college, she decided she wanted to take a break. When her body started to grow restless, Maddie found herself in a yoga class.
“I remember thinking how great it felt to move my body with fluidity and connect those movements with my breath.”
She left the class feeling more like herself and was thereon, hooked. After developing her own home practice, yoga became a major part of her life. It wasn’t until she traveled abroad to Italy, she found herself in a small Sicilian town on a three day yoga retreat, that she was introduced to meditation. Again–she was hooked. After graduating college, Maddie found herself once again being called to yoga and signed up for a 200-hour yoga teacher training. The training opened her eyes to a whole new world of yoga and what it meant to her.
“There’s a reason people leave a yoga class feeling relaxed and at peace, and I want to help people feel that.”
She was trained by teachers who follow the lineage of Swami Sivananda, with expertise in Hatha and Vinyasa.
