I have been having trouble sleeping for a while, maybe 6 months, and I feel like I tried everything to help; my mind just wouldn’t slow down, I would just literally lay in bed and think about anything possible I could think of.  And if I did fall asleep, it would only be for a few hours, and when I woke up could never shut my brain off.  Needless to say I was feeling so tired all the time, and that does not fit in with my lifestyle.  I work a lot, I go to the gym, and I am involved in a lot of sports and social activities; I have no time to be tired.  I would always figure out how to battle through, but it was not the way I want to live my life, I needed and wanted to feel better.  I recently tried Cortisol Manager, recommended from my holistic doctor, but that didn’t make me feel very good the next day, so that had to go. So I was leaving the gym about a week ago and started talking to Sherri about my lack of sleep and she told me to try meditation via an app on my phone.  Boy was that the best advice I have ever received.  I am on Day 7 of how to sleep in 7 days.  The first 3 days I listened to the 12 minute meditation and made it through, then listened to a meditative bedtime story, not one time did I make it to the end of a 12 minute story, and the last 3 nights, I haven’t even made it to the end of the 12 minutes of meditation!  The best thing is I stay asleep!  I am by no means an expert at meditating, but I feel noticeably better and its awesome.  Having a good nights sleep is much more conducive to my lifestyle.  Thanks so much Sherri!
