Amanda Charbonneau, Yoga Instructor

Yoga Instructor

Amanda has always incorporated movement throughout her life. Whether it was helping her dad lift logs and cutting trees, riding her bike, playing sports and trail running, or even a love of nutrition beginning from a book her nana gave her when she was a child - she believes all of these experiences helped set her foundation of her passion for yoga when she first stepped on the mat at 16 years old!

After hitting a few roadblocks initially in college, Amanda set out to find the newest version of her by committing to her practice, running, and being strong inside and out. After studying Psychology, Nutrition and Community Health from UMass Lowell, she headed to Northern India for two months and completed her first YogaTTC. This was the first of many moves, travels, and yoga advancements that she would take, as the years following included hundreds of hours of training in trauma-informed, Vinyasa, Kundalini, Pranayama-Breathing, Nidra, Asana, Prenatal, Restorative, and more! She has a history of working with troubled youth populations, in hospitals, and more traditional yoga studios as well. Along with her yoga training, she has also worked in the past as a personal trainer and bootcamp instructor, specializing as a TRX coach. Kathy teaches Vinyasa flow, Gentle flow, and Restorative styles of yoga and is adept at and enjoys teaching all levels.

The last 2 years have been much different for Amanda, as she now has a beautiful “fire cracker” who lights up her sky! Her passion comes from loving the challenge of activating all of the muscles of the body, body and brain included, so that she can be a role model of a balanced life for her daughter!
