Courtney Ford, DPT
Licensed Physical Therapist, Strength & Conditioning Coach
Courtney’s love for exercise began in high school as a track and cross country runner. Receiving the “Most Valuable Player” award two years in a row on the women’s cross country team and earning several personal and team school records in track; Courtney made a personal commitment to lifelong exercise and fitness.
After graduating from Saint Anselm College in 2002 with a BA in Biology, Courtney began training with Sherri at Gold’s Gym in Nashua, NH. It was, and still is, Sherri’s energy, intensity, motivation, and philosophy on physical fitness and functional training that brings Courtney to SLS Fitness today. Now a Doctor of Physical Therapy (University of Massachusetts, Lowell 2010), Courtney is most impressed with Sherri’s commitment to form, function, and quality movement. It is in her own career that Courtney seeks not only to treat those who are acutely ill, but also to educate, motivate, and promote wellness and disease prevention to the fitness population. She has taken on an active roll in the Rocksteady Boxing program at SLS, and enjoys watching the community grow in both numbers and progress.
