Olivia Peterson, Coach
Spin Instructor
Olivia grew up in Westford, MA, where she spent most of her time playing softball and ice hockey. Her hard work on the softball field allowed her to achieve her childhood dream of being a collegiate athlete, playing four years for Stonehill College’s division 2 softball program, and serving as team captain her senior year.
After graduating from Stonehill in 2018 with a degree in English and a minor in Biology, she spent a year and a half working in medical publishing. While the work was important, it wasn’t thrilling for her. Olivia decided to earn her spin instructor certification, and came to SLS initially to teach a few spin classes a week - a great energy relief after working in a cubicle! She quickly fell in love with the energy and compassion of the SLS community, both its staff and its members, and the amount of education she was receiving in the classes.
Olivia served as a member of the management team at SLS from 2019 to 2022. During this time, she helped with the nuts and bolts of the business, primarily focusing on client relations and business operations. Though no longer a full-time team member, she loves ensuring that the SLS community feels loved and appreciated, and jumps at any chance to teach a class! You can still find her sprinkled all over the SLS schedule, and even at the front desk from time to time! She currently works as a member of the Client Solutions team for a global ad tech company.
In her free time, Olivia enjoys spending time with her family and her 85-lb rescue dog, Hercules! She also loves to travel (be sure to ask her about her backpacking trip through Europe!) and pursues many diverse hobbies, including cooking, knitting, sewing, and reading. She loves when she can connect with a member over one of these passions!
